We would like to express our heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by the earthquake that struck the Kumamoto region on July 28.
At UCHIDA HÔSEI, we would like to do whatever we can to support the people affected by this disaster. To help with the relief efforts, we will be offering a special charity sale of our Coin Pouch.
Starting today, Friday, July 31, at 8:00 PM (JST), the Coin Pouches will be available on our online store, and 100% of the sales proceeds will be donated to the official Kumamoto Prefecture Disaster Relief Fund.
A total of 100 pieces will be available in the following two colors:

This product is normally priced at ¥4,400. For this charity campaign, it will be offered at a special price of ¥6,000 (¥4,400 regular price + ¥1,600 donation).
If all 100 pieces are sold, we will donate a total of:
¥6,000 × 100 = ¥600,000
The collected funds will be donated to the official disaster relief fund established by Kumamoto Prefecture. Once the donation has been completed, we will share the official donation receipt issued by the prefecture on our social media channels.

In 2018, our factory was also affected by the Western Japan floods, and we lost every roll of our precious RAINBOW denim fabric. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of so many people, we were able to restore the fabric and continue our journey.
We have never forgotten the support we received. Through this project, we hope to pass that kindness on by helping those who need it today.
Rescue and recovery efforts are still ongoing. Everyone at UCHIDA HÔSEI sincerely prays for the safety of those affected and for the swift return of peaceful daily life.
